1660 forces for two: Ferrari with the most powerful in the V12

Ferrari has released two new modifications of the flagship supercar 812 Superfast called 812 Competizione and Competizione A. Cars received the most powerful and high-speed engine ever installed on an Italian brand road car.

We are talking about a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine developing 830 hp. and 692 Nm of torque – 30 forces and 26 Nm more than the standard Ferrari 812 Superfast unit. The engine, working together with a seven-speed robotic gearbox, is capable of spinning up to 9500 rpm.

The Ferrari 812 Competizione coupe also received some other design changes. So, instead of the rear window, a special aluminum fairing with massive air intakes was installed to optimize the oncoming flow. For the sake of weight reduction, a carbon fiber transverse bar appeared on the hood. In addition, in order to facilitate the construction of composite materials, a number of elements were made in the cabin.

A car weighing 1487 kg is capable of gaining the first “hundred” in 2.85 seconds, and acceleration to 200 km / h takes 7.5 seconds, which is 0.05 seconds. and 0.4 sec. faster than the standard 812 Superfast. The maximum speed remains the same – 340 km per hour.

Ferrari 812 Competizione A received an open targa body. This car turned out to be a little slower than the coupe due to the higher mass, but the Italians tried to keep the weight as low as possible due to the removable carbon fiber roof.

Both cars will be produced in small quantities, the size of which is not named. At the moment, all copies of the new supercars have already been sold.
