The British company Everatti Automotive has unveiled the all-electric Land Rover Series IIA. The original model was produced between 1961 and 1971. The chassis and transverse bulkhead are galvanized to resist corrosion. The original powertrain was dismantled and replaced with an electric motor that produces 152 hp. and 300 Nm of torque. The motor is powered by a 60 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is capable of providing 200 kilometers of mileage without recharging.
Representatives of the company noted that this figure is significantly less than many modern mass electric cars, but they did not forget to mention that the original car could drive about 240 kilometers at one gas station. The seat of the car has been improved and now it has heated leather seats. Buyers can equip the SUV with a heated seat belt.
The cost of the electrified Land Rover Series IIA will be announced at a later date.
