In the framework of the “Competitive economy of Ukraine” Ukrainian startup Delfast Bikes received from USAID grant in the amount of more than 3 million UAH for the development and production of electric bike Delfast Trike with high payload capacity. The bike will be useful for couriers and delivery services.

Development Delfast Trike has already begun, wrote in a Facebook co-founder Delfast Bikes Daniel Tonkopiy. The vehicle will have three wheels, and it will be important not only for couriers and delivery services.


This model will have a cargo platform that can be used for boxes, it can also be converted into a showcase for the sale of outdoor goods, such as ice cream or coffee. In addition, it can be used as an advertising platform or as a tourist vehicle.

Context. Ukrainian courier DelFast started to sell elektrobayka own design in 2016. Prior to that she used for delivery within Kyiv e-bikes.

In February Delfast Bikes, together with another 14 startups represent Ukraine at the 10th global conference of entrepreneurs and investors, Startup Grind Global 2020 in Silicon valley, including three Ukrainian finalists was held in the acceleration program Startup Grind Global.
