A former top Manager of Jaguar will do a remake of the Aston Martin


Ian Callum was presented the debut of his new project Studio, based on the Aston Martin Vanquish.

The company’s specialists Callum, founded by the former chief designer Jaguar Ian Callum, has introduced a limited edition series dorodango and improved Aston Martin Vanquish V12. The first copies of the coupe will be delivered to customers before the end of this year, and the entire edition of 25 cars will be built by the end of 2020.

“New old” Vanquish from Callum are outwardly little different from the original versions of a coupe with the design of 2001, who also designed the former top Manager. The cars get a different front bumper, grille trim carbon fiber and a more pronounced horizontal bars and lose the fog lights in their place will install air ducts for cooling the carbon-ceramic brakes. Also, change the shape of the mirrors and side skirts.


Optics will be fully led. Side Windows are framed in specially made exterior trim, and a number of decorative elements of the exterior and interior is decorated with the signature pattern, called “abstract tartan”. Changed the architecture of the interior of the sports car: the emphasis is on the quality of the fit of items and materials. The Vanquish is equipped with new front seats that have received athletic profile, multimedia system with support for Apple CarPlay and analog clock Bremont.

Also changes under the bonnet – there will be a chipped 5.9-liter V12 with a new camshaft and exhaust system. The power plant, the returns of which will be around 600 HP, will be combined with modern 6-speed automatic transmission. Also the coupe will get a new suspension, stabilizers and wheels.

Currently, we have built two prototype models, one for test, and the second demo. It is expected that the value of each of 25 vehicles will be not less than 400 thousand pounds.
