A new record: the German has developed over 400 km / h on his own car

The millionaire has improved on his own achievement, established six years ago. To do this, he chose a Bugatti Chiron.

Germany has set a new speed record on public roads. Hypercar Bugatti Chiron accelerated on the Autobahn to an incredible 414 km / h. This is reported by the Motor1 website.

The record holder was not a professional racer, but the German millionaire Radim Passer, who made a fortune on the sale of real estate. In 2015, he already distinguished himself, having developed 402.5 km / h on the Autobahn behind the wheel of a Bugatti Veyron, and now he decided to beat his own achievement.

In 2018, Radim Passer decided to buy a Bugatti Chiron, and three years later he decided to test its capabilities on the Autobahn. To avoid traffic on the road, the record-breaking race was made at 4.50 am on a section near Wittenberg, where there are no speed limits.

On an empty track, the hypercar easily reached 414 km / h. No production car was so fast on the Autobahn. By the way, this is almost the limit of the Chiron, because its maximum speed is limited at around 420 km / h.

Recall that the Bugatti Chiron is equipped with an 8.0-liter 1500-horsepower W16 with four turbines and all-wheel drive. In total, only 500 of these coupes will be produced at a cost of 2.5 million euros.
