Despite the growing hype around SUVs, family supermini is still relevant.
The fourth generation KIA Rio was launched into production in 2017, and soon it will be the first update in mid-cycle. Photospin managed to capture a prototype of a novelty during road tests.
The car is almost fully covered with heavy camouflage, which, along with plastic trim, does not allow to consider major changes. However, the front and rear have to be to get a new bumper and possibly upgraded optics. Also plan to upgrade the design of the wheels and a different color palette.
The interior of the facelifted KIA Rio will also get some changes, at least the front panel also has a camouflage. Probably will be improved infotainment system, and will also change the trim and upholstery.
The engine range will also change, with an emphasis on improving the fuel efficiency and carbon dioxide emissions in accordance with the latest rules. It is expected that the new Rio will debut in 2021.
