For the Lister Le Mans model, they intend to gain about 85-95 thousand pounds.

Historics Auctioneers has auctioned the Lister Le Mans Coupe, which is a significantly redesigned 1990 Jaguar XJ-S. A coupe with a 7.0-liter engine was tentatively estimated at £ 85,000-95,000.

In the Lister archives, the coupe instance put up for sale appears under the number “081LJ”. Its modernization took several years. The transformation of the extreme two-door was based on the Jaguar XJ-S, which was first converted into a 6.0-liter Mk. III, and after another 2 years they were updated to the performance of Le Mans. The main difference between these cars was the 7.0-liter V12 unit with additional fuel injectors, Cosworth connecting rods, forged pistons, as well as enlarged valves and a crankshaft made of hardened nitride steel.

Thanks to these modifications, Lister Le Mans had a capacity of 608 hp. and 813 Nm of maximum torque and could accelerate from standstill to 97 km / h in 4.4 seconds. In addition, instead of the 5-speed Getrag “mechanics”, the Lister machines were equipped with a 6-speed one.

Each such alteration cost the customer £ 77,000. Moreover, Lister Cars has built 25 such coupes. This Lister Le Mans has been in a private collection since 2016. The owner paid for a major overhaul of the engine, a complete repainting of the body, as well as an alteration of the leather interior of the Recaro. After the restoration, we drove a little more than 800 km by car and put it up for sale.
