Lit by two Rolls-Royce among the prototypes, the production of which is suspended due to a pandemic. Version Ghost 2021 with a long wheelbase were seen on the tests together with the standard model Rolls-Royce Ghost.
This is the first time you can see both versions together, the difference in length is clearly visible: the LWB model has a large rear door and longer the roof.
Unlike its predecessor, the new Ghost will work on the latest Phantom aluminum bases, thus abandoning the architecture of the BMW 7-series. This strategy would also apply to Wraith and Dawn of the next generation.
It is expected that power will be supplied by the same 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 that was used the Phantom, and produces 563 HP and 900 Nm of torque with 8-speed automatic transmission. It is also possible that Rolls-Royce electrificare architecture, respectively, we cannot exclude the hybrid version of Ghost with the plug-in, as well as the model with zero emissions, but so far the company has not confirmed these data.
As for its interior, since last summer we know that the new Ghost will remind luxury AWD crossover Rolls-Royce Cullinan from the point of view of the location of the instrument panel, steering wheel design, location of vents, and more. However, the top panel seems more direct than the Cullinan.
Rolls-Royce must represent Ghost 2021 next year.
