The 2021 Hyundai Staria minivan features a bold, futuristic design. Spectacular daytime running lights and a light strip that runs along the entire width of the car, a wide radiator grille with a low rise and laconic head optics.
Unique design touches continue to the sides where the windows protrude lower than usual. At the stern, there are large vertical taillights with Parametric Pixel lamps in the spirit of the electric Ioniq 5. The body of the minivan can be painted in one of eight available shades: from black and white to blue and olive. The novelty will enter the market in two versions – standard and flagship, and will also offer configurations from 2 to 11 seats.
Staria Premium gets expanded chrome trim, a different grille and larger lighting fixtures. Original 18-inch wheels complete the look. The interior of such a minivan has a digital “tidy”, an electronic shift lever of a push-button type and advanced multimedia with a large touchscreen.
Seven- and nine-seater Premium models are equipped with electrically adjustable chairs with a relaxation mode. These minivans also rely on leather upholstery and two-tone trim.
Basic minivans get analog devices, a regular air conditioner without any special frills and a simple audio system with Bluetooth.
The Hyundai Staria engine range includes a 174-horsepower 2.2-liter diesel engine, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic transmission, and a 3.5-liter engine with 268 horsepower. For him, only an 8-speed “automatic” is provided. The novelty will enter the market in the second half of 2021. Moreover, the 11-seater model will not go beyond the home region.
