The Alpha Wolf two-seat pickup, shown in March, has a four-seat Plus (Wolf +) version. It is much larger than the original in all directions: length – 5150 mm (+385), width – 1980 (+50), height – 1760 (+75). The cab became two-row and received swing “half-doors”. Meanwhile, the dimensions of the cargo platform have not changed (1652×1490 mm), although the sides have become 61 mm higher (458). A truck bed extension hitch is provided, extending the platform by 1016 mm.
The body is made of steel, aluminum and carbon fiber, and then painted in a sandy Twentynine Palms shade, “inspired by the harsh desert landscape” of Joshua Tree National Park in California. Towing capacity is estimated at 3050 kg versus 1360 for a regular Wolf.
Alpha Motor Corporation, which previously announced the Ace coupe and Jax cross-hatch, remains one of the most mysterious American companies. While her car was alive, no one saw who was behind the project – it is unknown, since there are no public representatives. Chinese media are making a helpless gesture, too.
The front panel with two displays (diagonals are not named) literally repeats Wolf. Handles appeared on the front struts. The backs of the rear seats are strictly vertical, and nothing can be done about it. The optional tent replicates the Alpha Motor Corporation logo.
If “just” Wolf has front and four-wheel drive, then Wolf + offers a choice between rear (Single Motor RWD Drive) and full (Dual Motor 4WD). The power of the power plant with one or two electric motors is still not advertised, but it is clear that the “plus” has increased it: acceleration to 60 mph (96.5 km / h) takes 5.9 s (-0.3) … The former 75 and 85 kWh lithium-ion batteries promise the same range of 250-275 miles (402-443 km). Prices are in the $ 40,000-48,000 range, while the two-seater Wolf asks for $ 36,000-46,000. Pickup deliveries to customers are scheduled for 2023.
