Famous limousine American Dream, which is called the longest car in the world, will be restored by the efforts of American Mike manning. The process to return the car to original appearance is already running.
American Dream was built by customizers Jay Orberga in the 90-ies of the last century. In order to create the longest car in the world, ARBURG combined two limousine Cadillac Eldorado 1976 release, 26 set of wheels and a couple of motors. The result is a 30.5-metre machine on Board which posted a Jacuzzi, a helipad, a mini-Golf course and a swimming pool.
Recent years, the limousine stood in the warehouse of the Museum Autoseum. Before the American Dream came into the hands of manning, he was in a deplorable condition: the body has rusted in many places, the front bumper was missing, and one of the headlights, on multiple axes lacked wheels. According to manning, the restoration of the limousine can take up to a year and will not be completed until next spring.
This summer the hammer will start up another unique limousine – Limo-Jet with 18 seats created on the basis of civil business jet. Limousine-the aircraft is equipped with an 8.1 liter GM motor with 400 horsepower and is worth five million dollars.
