We are talking about a small SUV Renault HBC, whose debut will take place next year.
In April the managing Director of Renault India Venkatram Mamillare confirmed that the new SUV brand, whose length does not exceed four meters, will officially launch in 2020. Now another representative of the brand – Fabrice Kambolis, senior Vice-President and chair of AMI-Pacific Groupe Renault, shared with the newspaper “The Economic Times” the first details about the new Renault HBC. According to him, the company currently operates in two key areas. The first is the electrification of the car, and the second edition SUV long less than four meters. This segment is showing good growth, and it would be very shortsighted to miss out on buyers, set up in the purchase of a subcompact SUV.
Recall subcompact hatchback Renault Kwid caused quite a stir in India. Now the brand is going to replicate this success in other segments.
According to experts, the subcompact SUV from Renault will get an enhanced version of the platform CMF-A, entitled “CMF-A+”. The appearance of the item will be completely original: it is original car and not a continuation of the bestselling Kwid. It is expected that Renault will debut the HBC turbulence liter three-cylinder petrol engine from the Renault Kwid. The same powertrain will equip Renault Triber. But diesel engines Renault HBC did not put. While this type of powertrain can often be found under the hood of the Indian SUVs with a length up to four meters.
Will the new SUV global status – not yet known. Among the main rivals of the new Brezza is called the Suzuki Vitara, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300.
