Some owners of Aprilia RS 660 and Aprilia Tuono 660 will soon be notified of the need to replace engines. They are all located in North America. Replacement will be done free of charge as part of the recall campaign.

Less than 100 motorcycles will be reviewed. They all have a VIN within the same range. Details of the review are currently unknown. Aprilia initially stated the need for a technical inspection of some motorcycles. The description said that it was required to check the settings of the valve system. The first problems were discovered during the launch of the RS 660 for the US press. Some reports speak of crank breakage, which leads to the failure of the rower. In any case, there is nothing to repair and a complete replacement of the motor is required.

At the moment, nothing on time. Aprilia has already announced that all owners of defective bikes will receive a new warranty. In the near future, the review will be officially published. As for the motorcycles that are supplied to other regions, there is no information yet.
