Aston Martin has approved the name Valhalla for his new hypercar

The upcoming hypercar Aston Martin with a mid-engined, formerly known under the code AM-RB 003, now officially named the Valhalla.

The car has received the name in honor of a warrior of heaven in Norse mythology, and the name fits the concept of the British brand with the names of the cars on the letter “V”.

Only Aston Martin is going to build 500 units of the supercar with a hybrid powertrain and unique exterior made entirely of carbon fiber.

As for performance, the Valhalla will use a turbocharged V6 engine, which together with the electric motor will be able to develop approximately 1000 horsepower, working together with the 8-speed automatic transmission with double clutch, limited-slip differential and an electronic AWD system.

The weight of the car will be just 1350 pounds, which will allow the power plant to Valhalla accelerate to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and a top speed of the supercar will be 355 km/h.
