The GMC Hummer electric pickup made its debut in October, but its assembly is still stalled, although the manufacturer promises to start it very soon. And the SEMA Show will even showcase some of the accessories for the model that will be available for free sale.
The most noticeable option is a tent with an aluminum body and a large canvas roof. Its dimensions are quite large: the structure stretches over the entire roof to the edge of the cargo platform. Moreover, in the back, it rests on two legs. The set includes a sliding ladder and a portable refrigerator for cooling drinks.
Other accessories include an original spare wheel holder, an electric cargo cover, roof rails, an off-road stuck emergency kit and a 127cm LED strip that is slightly curved to align with the contour of the roof.
“Accessories designed for the GMC Hummer are inspired by the performance of the electric car itself,” said Humberto Ortiz, one of the brand’s leading designers.
By the way, the manufacturer will show four modified Hummers at the SEMA Show at once: two pickups, one SUV and a racing Chip Ganassi Racing Extreme-E. The latter has a completely different design, off-road wheels with tires, an air intake on the roof, metal underbody protection and, obviously, seriously modified equipment. The event will take place in Las Vegas from November 2-5.
