Emotional design, impressive lighting technology and perfect harmony – this is what both the Audi brand and the Dutch design Marcel Wanders are famous for. At the Audi City Lab, designed by Wanders for Milan Design Week, the four-ring brand will be showcasing its impressive Audi A6 e-tron concept. In addition, Audi will unveil two other electric vehicles, the RS e-tron GT and the Q4 e-tron.
Styling is at the forefront of Audi, which is why the four-ring brand is participating in Milan Design Week for the seventh time. This year, the world’s largest annual meeting of designers will open its doors from September 5-10. The premium car manufacturer is participating in the event with the Audi City Lab. On September 6, a discussion took place with Audi’s head of design, Mark Lichte, and designer Marcel Wanders, entitled “A story of living progress – inspired by progress”.
Marcel Wanders, famous as a designer for his iconic work Knotted Chair, is also responsible for the design of the Audi City Lab in Milan. In this unique atmosphere, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the concept of the Audi A6 e-tron, a high-tech all-electric sedan with two electric motors, 350 kW and 800 V technology for particularly fast charging.
“Design and Audi are inextricably linked. The Audi A6 e-tron and Audi RS e-tron GT concept, also on display at the show, are two outstanding examples of the perfect combination of emotional design, captivating lighting systems and cutting-edge technology, ”said Henrik Wenders, Head of the Audi Brand. p>
