Orders for the new product will be accepted starting next spring.
The Audi e-tron GT electric car will be assembled at the Bollinger Hofe production site, which is part of the company’s plant in Neckarsulm, Germany. Previously, this company, which belongs to Audi Sport, produced the R8 model. In the future, the supercar and electric car will be produced within the same Assembly line.
All electricity and heat supplied to the Neckarsulm plant is generated from renewable sources. At the same time, the railway equipment used for the purposes of the enterprise operates either on natural gas or on electric traction. And last year, during the preparation of the new e-tron GT for mass production, the production site of Bollinger Hofe was expanded and retooled.
Recall that the Audi e-tron GT electric car is developed on the new PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform. The final performance of two electric motors, which are available in the equipment of the new product, is 590 HP, and on one charge the car will be able to travel about 400 km on the WLTP cycle. Orders for the Audi e-tron GT electric car will begin to be accepted from the spring of next year.
