Audi becomes the supplier of electric mobility – the process covers all areas of the company. The German brand intends by 2025 to bring to market more than 30 models electrified and to achieve sales of electric cars at 40% of the total number of sold cars.

While Audi has been consistently moving towards sustainable mobility. Accordingly, the scope of the procurement and production is also more closely linked to criteria related to sustainability. By 2025, the carbon footprint of the fleet throughout the life cycle should be reduced by 30% in comparison with 2015.

Modern customers premium increasingly focus on sustainable mobility. Therefore, it is a consistent step to make electric mobility one of the Central cornerstones of the new brand strategy. Audi will allocate 50% of marketing budget for topics related to electric mobility in the future. The company strives to provide its customers with a stronger emotional experience with a new type of propulsion, to dispel any reservations and to kindle enthusiasm. Audi also starting a new Chapter in its history with the launch to market of the model e-tron at the beginning of 2019.

Audi has provided training to more than 9,500 employees international dealerships for the market introduction of the Audi e-tron.

With a new Plug & Charge, which will be implemented in the near future, Audi e-tron automatically authenticated on the battery terminal using the cryptographic processes and activates it.
