For some time we watched the “spy” shots of the crossover Audi Q7 2020 model year, and we even found a well-researched rendering, which was published by independent artists. But now all of a camouflage film is removed, and we can officially look at the “soft facelift”, and it turns out that earlier we studied the rendering was pretty damn accurate.
Based on the newest style of the German brand, the Q7 has received a slightly refreshed front and rear bumpers. Inside the changes are slightly more noticeable – the car will now be prompted with several options of hybrid power plant.
Outside, the radiator grille of the new Q7 is wider. Worth noting is also newly designed headlamps with optional led matrix, HD Matrix. Large angular air intakes take on a more vertical orientation. The new “rocker” trim adorns the sides, a redesigned rear panel has the same basic design as the previous model with the exhaust holes in the shape of a trapezoid. Further, on the rear door there is a new rear lights with chrome strip spans the width of the crossover.

The changes also touched the interior of the crossover. On the European market will be two diesel engines, and the model with a gasoline counterpart. All engines will use a 48-volt mild hybrid system, but Audi doesn’t offer details about their capacity or efficiency. Plug-in hybrid version of the Q7 is expected later, but perhaps more importantly, the Q7 gets active roll stabilization from high-performance SQ7 as an option.
