Audi on Thursday, October 22, showed the concept RS E-Tron GT on the eve of the debut of the novelty in the race 24 hours of Spa.
Recall that the German manufacturer has repeatedly published teaser images of the RS E-Tron GT, but this is the first time that Audi has presented the upcoming flagship live, albeit under a disguise film. In appearance, the RS concept resembles the “Junior” model E-Tron GT, while most likely there will be changes under the camouflage.
Like the E-Tron GT, the RS model will be built in the same architecture as the Porsche Taycan, but the Porsche electric car is driven by two units, while the RS E-Tron GT can get a three-engine layout. So, two electric motors will be located at the rear, and one at the front. The overall performance of the engines will reach 700 HP, which will allow the novelty to accelerate to 100 km/h in just three seconds.
The three electric motors will be powered by a 95 kW/h battery, which will allow the model to cover a distance of up to 400 kilometers on a single charge.
In addition, it was recently noted that a special modification of the Audi TT RS 40 Years of Quattro was presented. It should be emphasized that this variation is distinguished by the presence of other external and internal finishes, and even increased twice the price.
