The legendary DeLorean DMC12 was spotted in Ukraine. The famous car from the movie “Back to the Future” unexpectedly lit up at the Bukovel ski resort. DeLorean’s photo was posted on the drive luxury Instagram page.

Apparently, the owner of a rare sports car was not frightened by the Carpathian winter. The car is covered with ice and snow.

An interesting detail: DeLorean DMC12 is a “Euroblocked”, because it has Bulgarian numbers. It should be noted that the car was not subject to preferential customs clearance, because it was produced back in 1981-1983 and it does not meet the minimum required eco-standards Euro-2.

DeLorean DMC12 is a rare model, because only 8.5 thousand coupes were assembled. In the movie “Back to the Future”, the car was filmed after the end of production.

Famous Italian stylist Giorgetto Giugiaro has developed a futuristic design with gullwing doors. Interestingly, all cars are unpainted: their bodies were polished and covered with a special protective solution, which is why they are silver.

The rear-engined coupe is equipped with a rather modest 2.7-liter V6 from Peugeot with 130 hp. with. Its top speed is only 175 km / h, that is, even by the standards of the 80s, the car was not fast.

By the way, this is at least the second DeLorean in Ukraine. Another such car is kept in the collection of the Mayor of Dnipro Boris Filatov.
