Thanks to this leak, now we have information about the timing of the market introduction of the successor model of the GT86, the Toyota Tundra, Sequoia, 4Runner and Sienna minivan, and unknown crossover.

The slides stated that the successor of the Toyota GT86 in the summer of 2021 will be a sport coupe called GR86, the development of which will be carried out jointly with Subaru. Surviving in addition to rear-wheel drive, the car will get a turbo engine 259 horsepower.
In addition, at the end of 2021 the Japanese brand will update the Tundra pickup truck. This will be the third restyling of the model, produced since 2006. The next generation of the pickup will lose a 5.7-liter atmospheric “eight”. It will replace the V6 engine with twin turbocharging and hybrid technologies. Also as hybrids in the fall of 2020 Toyota plans to release a new Sienna minivan, and unknown crossover, whose name is not disclosed. And for 2022, according to the staff, the Japanese automaker scheduled the release of the updated SUV Sequoia and 4Runner.
It should be noted that recently, Toyota introduced an exclusive version of sport coupe GT 86 destined exclusively for the Japanese market. The car is fully black in color, called the GT Black Limited will be released only 86 copies.
