The British automaker has created a special version of the Bentayga crossover, which was developed in collaboration with the renowned whiskey maker Macallan.
At the moment, the distillery is located in the estate, which is called The Macallan Estate. For the creation of the distillery, an 18th-century mansion and the surrounding area were chosen, which were ennobled during the creation of the enterprise with a special emphasis on environmental friendliness, which is reflected in the special body color of the Bentayga. The car is painted in a specific shade of green, this shade is called Viridian. The exterior of the car is adorned with 22-inch black rims.
The leather interior trim is about the same color. The interior is also finished with Liquid Amber wood veneer, the color of which should be associated with the shades of the drink itself. The crossover armchairs have a silhouette of the mansion marked “founded in 1824”.
The special crossover was built on the basis of a hybrid modification of the Bentley Bentayga, and in order to emphasize the environmental friendliness of the distillery, the automaker promised to charge the car’s battery exclusively from renewable energy sources. There will be a charging point on the estate, which will be powered by the Wardlaw Wood Wind Farm.
But the crossover Bentayga The Macallan will not be the last joint project of the two companies. Bentley intends to create a hybrid Flying Spur for the Macallan with a similar finish. The sedan will be powered by a hybrid powertrain based on a 2.9-liter V6 coupled with an electric motor. This version will produce 544 hp. and 750 Nm of torque, which is about 100 hp. more than the hybrid Bentayga.
