As impressive as the new Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is, we find it unfortunate that it is not available as a station wagon. Fortunately, anyone looking for a high-performance Cadillac coupled with the practicality of a station wagon can buy something similar in the used car market.
The Cadillac CTS-V station wagon you’re looking at is a 2013 model, and while that means it’s somewhat dated technology compared to the CT5-V Blackwing, it still offers a ton of power. In fact, this particular instance has been heavily modified and dynamo graphs confirm that it has 781bhp. with. on the rear wheels and 750 lb-ft (1,016 Nm) of torque.
Updates made to the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 include air intake, American Racing long-pipe manifolds, GM Performance three-bolt cam gearbox, BTR 3rd stage camshaft, BTR timing chain, valve springs BTR with titanium retainers, BTR trunnion kit, D3 boost pulley kit, Innovators West low balance, new spark plug wires, throttle body, aftermarket fuel pumps, new fuel injectors, and E85 operation.
The exterior of the car is finished in three layers of Black Diamond paint and has been redesigned with a carbon fiber splitter and carbon bonnet. It also sits on 20-inch Vossen wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
The list confirms that the car has only traveled 26,000 miles (-41,800 km) and since Cadillac will not be producing the CT5-V Blackwing station wagon, this remains the next best option.
