The Bavarian carmaker has launched an electrified version of the third generation X3, dubbed xDrive30e.
The new modification of the BMW X3 brings the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 184 HP and an electric motor with 109 HP., built-in 8-speed transmission. The total capacity of the power plant is 292 HP and torque of 420 Nm, which is transmitted to all four wheels via the xDrive system as necessary. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 6.1 seconds, and top speed is 210 km/h.
As the battery is a lithium-ion battery mounted under the rear seat (fuel tank is above the rear axle), which can be recharged using a common household outlet with a standard charging cable for almost 6 hours. Through the use of special charging stations charging can be carried out for 3.5 hours. Thanks to the ergonomics of the Luggage compartment remains unchanged at 450 litres and can be increased to 1500 litres by folding the rear seats.
Owners can switch between different driving modes, including a mode of an electric power that allows to pass from 51 to 55 km.

The hybrid version will be available in four variants: Advantage, xLine, Luxury and M Sport.
