The German brand is preparing a new electric cars, among which iX3, iNext and i4. The presentation of all three electric vehicles will take place before the end of 2021, but in the future can reach a greater number of electric models.

Currently there is little information about the plans of the automaker at the time after 2022-th, however, a fresh report brand provides the appearance in the range of Bavarian brand fully electric models i6, which will compete with the Audi e-tron GT, Mercedes and Porsche Taycan EQS.

The Agency Autoblog notes that the i6 will appear in 2024 and will become a stylish buggy that will inherit part of the design solutions from the 8-Series Gran Coupe. Therefore, the i6 will be a 4-door coupe, which is reasonable given the competitors of the upcoming new model.


According to the press, the standard i6 will receive two electric power unit. The motor, which will be located on the front axle will develop around 200 HP, and on the back – approximately 335 HP So the overall performance will be 535 HP, and she will receive a full drive.

In addition, the allowed output variation of the M Performance, which will also have 2 electrical motor efficiency 335 HP each.

Speaking of batteries, for i6 BMW will offer two versions of batteries. According to the report, the standard battery with a capacity of 90 kWh will provide a range of 560 km cycle WLTP, and more efficient battery to 120 kW/h – 700 km.
