The circulation of the upgraded smart from Brabus will be 50 copies.
Tuning company Brabus has shown another modified version of the smart EQ fortwo cabrio electric car. A compact city car called the Brabus 92R has got a brutal appearance, lowered suspension and a small increase in engine performance. Brabus specialists will assemble only 50 of these electric cars, each will cost from 46,284 euros.
The 92R index in the name of the electric car indicates the performance of the electric motor of the convertible: as a result of improvements, the power increased to 92 hp. and the torque is up to 133 Nm. This is 10 hp. and 15 Nm more than the standard smart model. To accelerate from standstill to a speed of 100 km / h, the city car will take 10.9 seconds, while its maximum speed reaches 130 km / h.
Brabus 92R seats upholstered in genuine leather, illuminated side skirts and aluminum pedal covers are marked with Brabus logo, while the front panel, steering wheel and door cards are decorated with red stitching. The custom selector allows the driver to choose between four modes, including the redesigned Eco with more intensive energy recovery when the accelerator pedal is released.
The smart EQ fortwo cabrio was equipped with a suspension lowered by 25 mm, Monoblock IX alloy wheels measuring 16 inches in front and 17 inches in the rear, as well as an aerodynamic body kit. The first instance of the redesigned Brabus 92R was made in black with red accents, while several body colors and trims will be available for future customers to choose from.
