The new Chinese SUV, dubbed Brilliance V9 is in development, and these spy pictures we can first see the car.
The joint venture of the Bavarian BMW and Chinese Brilliance are developing a new 7-seater crossover. It is noted that the Brilliance V9 will be on the V7 in the line models of the automaker, and it is based on the platform M8X, which was jointly developed by Brilliance China Automotive Holdings and BMW Group.
It is worth noting that Brilliance feels V9 is not less than 12 months and, based on the dense camouflage of this prototype, the Chinese automaker, it seems, there is still a lot of work to bring it to production.
When viewed from the front Brilliance V9 it is possible to note the grille, borrowed from the V7, and a pair of angular headlights. Brilliance also has equipped this prototype with a set of silver and black wheels, while the rear we see a small roof spoiler and dual exhaust pipes on each side.
Although it seems that the appearance of the V9 will have some common features with the smaller V7, the interior will be significantly different. Compact Brilliance V7 is equipped with a digital instrument panel and the center front panel is screen infotainment system portrait orientation with ventilation holes on both sides. Thus, the overall interior design is reminiscent of some Volvo cars. For comparison, zapechatlena prototype V9 has one display, which performs the function as the instrument panel and is responsible for the media.
On the engine range of the new information yet, but “little” V7 is sold with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbo engine capacity of 204 HP, combined with 6-speed ??manual or 7-speed ??automatic transmission with double clutch.
