On the official Subaru website, it became possible to order exterior elements for the BRZ sports coupe version of the 2022 model year. Among other things, you can choose from a carbon fiber wing, a front splitter and side skirts.
Subaru is officially taking orders for a new version of its BRZ rear-wheel drive sports coupe starting this week. It’s about Japan. Equally interesting is that the novelty is also available with various accessories that help make the car look more aggressive.
Those who consider the BRZ not a sporty looking car should be aware that the Japanese version of the sports coupe can be equipped with a carbon fiber rear wing and 18-inch BBS forged wheels.
Not only that, Subaru also offers front fender decoration along with a more powerful front spoiler lip, a sporty rear skirt and additional aerodynamic exterior elements.
Buyers will also be offered a neat spoiler that sits on the boot lid, as well as a more efficient exhaust system, although in the case of the latter there is no mention of any increase in power. The second generation Subaru BRZ is powered by a large 2.4-liter engine with 228 hp. in the US version, and for European countries, this figure is 232 hp
As an available option, you can order a flexible V-shaped rod, which, according to the automaker’s representatives, increases the rigidity of the car and improves its handling, especially when the car moves sharply in corners. Completing the changes is an additional set of LED daytime running lights installed in the decorative section of the front air intakes.
We expect the equivalent Toyota GR 86 to offer similar factory upgrades as soon as it goes on sale in Japan this fall.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that the first photos of the new generation Subaru WRX appeared. Western publications have captured a prototype of the next generation Japanese sedan Subaru WRX. Although the body of the car was covered with camouflage film, you can still see the elements of the updated exterior.
