Bugatti has introduced a new hypercar – Chiron Super Sport. The two-door, which has received unique aerodynamic solutions, will be built in only nine copies. Each will cost the buyer a minimum of 3.2 million euros.

The main feature of the Chiron Super Sport is a 25 centimeters lengthened feed, like the record Chiron Super Sport 300+. To achieve maximum aerodynamic characteristics, French engineers removed all unnecessary elements from the supercar body, giving it the maximum possible streamlined shape. To reduce resistance to air flow, as well as to minimize the effect of exhaust gas flow, specialists have redesigned the diffuser and exhaust system.

The Chiron Super Sport features unique five-Y-spoke aluminum wheels that are available in diamond-cut designs. In addition, special tires have been developed for the supercar, which can withstand speeds of up to 500 kilometers per hour. The interior of the Chiron Super Sport has been trimmed with leather and aluminum and carbon fiber trim.

The supercar is driven by a W16 8.0 ATV engine boosted to 1600 horsepower, which is paired with a seven-speed “robot” with two clutches. The top speed of the Chiron Super Sport is electronically limited to 440 kilometers per hour. According to the head of the brand Stefan Winkelmann, the new Chiron Super Sport represents “the greatest grand tourism in history”, which is ideal for transcontinental travel.

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport will be limited to only nine copies, which means that the coupe will become the rarest and most exclusive Chiron variation. The cost of each such car will be at least 3.2 million euros. Deliveries will begin in 2022.

In 2019, Bugatti launched mass production of the Chiron Super Sport 300+, which set a world speed record of 490.484 kilometers per hour. The unique supercar could be purchased for 3.5 million euros.
