Bugatti prepares electric crossover

Bugatti is planning to develop a crossover vehicle with electric propulsion. It is reported by Automobile Magazine. According to the publication, the new product will create together with the firm Rimac from Croatia. Also, the project will take part of the German engineering company Edag.


It is expected that the capacity of the crossover will be approximately 1900 horsepower. According to unofficial data, the cost of the machine will reach 850 000$. The company plans to sell 600 clean crossovers a year.

Earlier it was reported about the plans for Bugatti to develop electric sedan. The premiere of the car could take place in 2023. Bugatti electric car will be developed with the use of light alloys and carbon fiber. It will be longer than the Porsche Taycan, but will have the classic three-box body. Three electric motors will develop a capacity of about 870 HP and almost 300 HP more than the Porsche of electric cars.
