The Chinese company introduced a new version of elektrosetey BYD Han, which is equipped with HiCar on the software platform from Huawei HarmonyOS. The novelty became the 1st in the world car with a pre-installed communication module 5G.
Huawei HiCar is a “center of gravity” of the multimedia capabilities, electronic assistants DiPilot and self-learning autopilot. Through it the owner can remotely (with the help of gadgets) start the power unit, to lock and unlock doors, change the operation mode of the air conditioner, control Windows and so on.
Recall that BYD Han is presented in 2 versions: fully electric (EV) and hybrid (PHEV) with the possibility of charging from the external network.
BYD Han EV can be single-engine (222 horsepower, front-wheel drive) or twin-engine (272 horsepower, all-wheel drive). The first accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, the second in 3.9 seconds. Traction battery with a capacity of 65 kW/h and 76.8 kW/h with a power reserve of up to 500 kilometers.
BYD Han PHEV features a 2.0-litre supercharged power unit with a capacity of 189 horsepower and three electric motors. The total capacity of installation amounts to 476 horsepower. From 0 to 100 km/h this sedan accelerates in 3.9 seconds.
Sales of electric sedan in China will start in the summer of 2020. It will cost from 32 39 300 to $ 300.
