The approximate timing of the debut of the Cadillac Celestiq electric sedan is named by the Cadillac Society, citing insider information. The General Motors concern said that the battery flagship of the brand’s lineup will be presented in the summer of 2021. Most likely, this will be the period from July to August.
At the heart of the Cadillac Celestiq electric sedan is an intelligent, scalable electric platform. He will also receive branded Ultium batteries, the development of which required the experience of LG Chem specialists, and four-wheel drive.
Ultium is capable of operating at 800 volts, and it is also capable of operating with a powerful 350 kW charge. Outwardly, the new large sedan will look more like a liftback: the roof sloping to the rear of the car gives the new product a similarity with such models.
