Cadillac is preparing for the debut of the special version of the XT4

Cadillac has created a special show car, the XT4, which will be unveiling in China at the upcoming 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show. Images of the car have recently appeared on the auto.163 portal. The novelty is called the XT4 Snow Country Train Edition. It is possible that the production model may not be born.

The first thing that stands out in the show car is the bold camouflage film made in white, gray, red and orange. The XT4 also features a heavily redesigned front fascia with a unique front splitter and LED headlights very similar in shape to those used on the Ford Mustang RTR models. The bonnet also features four rally-style high-beam headlights.

Elsewhere, this particular XT4 has been fitted with a wide body kit that makes it look very aggressive. A set of black wheels with BF Goodrich All-Terrain T / A tires can also be found at the rear. The front wheel rims were temporarily installed to transport the vehicle. They should be replaced with the same set of wheels and tires as the rear ones. The roof rack completes the modifications.

As stated, the ’28T’ badge on the rear panel indicates that the XT4 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that develops 233bhp. It remains unclear whether Cadillac has made any mechanical modifications to its SUV. More details will be released this weekend when the Guangzhou Auto Show kicks off.
