Children over the age of 10 can now get behind the wheel of a car thanks to the new Track Days UK program. The driving experience of children under the age of 17 aims to teach participants the basics of driving. This will give them the opportunity to start training well in advance of obtaining a license.
The British operator has adapted a class of driving instructors for children between the ages of 10 and 17. The program will help young people travel several kilometers as they learn skills such as acceleration, steering, braking and gear shifting. This is not only an educational activity, but also great fun for children under 17 and an alternative activity for young people.
Each experience is tailored based on the driving ability of each participant, taking into account previous experience, if any. For training, the authors of the project chose a Ford Fiesta ST model with decent performance and a 1.6-liter Ecoboost turbo engine.
The fun doesn’t end there. For kids looking for more adrenaline, the operator invites kids under 17 to put their supercar driving skills to the test. They can drive Ferrari, Lamborghinis, McLarens and Aston Martins.
