For the new year holidays, the Infiniti brand decided to raise the festive mood by releasing another of its paper models “Karigami”. Now you can not only fold wrapping paper for gifts to your friends and family, but also from ordinary paper to make some of the Infiniti cars.
You can view and print out the manual for the paper model, or download a PDF file from the Infiniti website.
The new QX55 model will join three other crossovers in Infiniti’s repertoire, namely the QX50, QX60 and full-size QX80. To make models, you need to print them out, cut out parts and assemble them by gluing the protrusions with the corresponding numbers. If you need more help, each model comes with its own set of instructions. All 4 models are actually quite detailed and copy their real counterparts well.
The full-size QX55 will go on sale next spring, mechanically almost identical to its QX50 counterpart. Power for both is provided by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with adjustable compression and turbocharging, which develops a power output of 268 horsepower and 380 Nm. This engine is connected to a CVT that transmits power to the front-biased all-wheel drive system, which is standard in the United States and Canada.
