The Chinese brand Changan has circulated images of the yet unnamed new crossover: photos of the camouflaged prototype were published by Sohu. Some elements of both camouflage and bodywork of the car make one assume that this is another model from the UNI line.
Note that the camouflage pattern of the shown Changan prototype is made in a special style, which the manufacturer has already used to design prototypes of the UNI sub-brand. In addition, despite the protective film, you can see the narrow head optics of specific outlines and the filling of the radiator grille – similar elements have also become part of the UNI line style.
In general, the new Changan crossover has a traditional silhouette, but at the same time received a powerful window sill line, wide rear pillars, as well as developed stampings on the rear fenders. No technical characteristics of the new items have yet been named, but according to one of the versions, the new crossover will take an intermediate position between the previously debuted UNI-T crossovers and the flagship model UNI-K.
According to another version, which the AutoHome edition has, the future crossover will become a new model from the CS lineup and will enter the market under its own Changan brand. This publication believes that the automaker needs to expand this family.
