‘Charged’ Kona N spotted on roads

Judging by those photos of the “charged” Hyundai Kona N crossover that appeared on the network, the South Korean brand is already preparing an advertising campaign for its powerful novelty. The vehicle was spotted completely without camouflage.

More than a year has passed since we first saw the prototype of the high-performance crossover Hyundai Kona N. Today, a few weeks or days before the official debut of this car, we can finally see it in all its glory thanks to a new batch of “spy” photos.

Foreign journalists are in the right place at the right time to capture the Kona N prototype during an official photo shoot in Germany.

The fast crossover did not have any camouflage. It was filmed by a cameraman who was driving an Audi Q7. At one point, the production team was unhappy with the presence of the spy photographer and decided to throw black film over the crossover to try and hide the rear.

Earlier this month, Hyundai released official teasers of the Kona N, which pretty much showed what to expect from a crossover in terms of design. In these new photos, we can clearly see the sculpted front bumper, black side skirts with red accents and a slightly loaded rear with a large diffuser and twin round tailpipes.

So far, there is no official information on which engines the Kona N will be sold with. According to rumors, the new product will be offered with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 278 horsepower (392 Nm). According to unofficial information, power will be sent to the front (or potentially all four) wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The powerful crossover will debut in the next few weeks.

Not so long ago, our publication wrote that Hyundai announced a new seven-seater crossover Alcazar. Hyundai has announced a new seven-seat Alcazar crossover for 2021. Its presentation will take place on April 6. In fact, this car is an extended version of the Hyundai Creta crossover.
