HMIL (Hyundai Motor India Ltd.) has unveiled the updated 2021 Hyundai Aura subcompact sedan. The vehicle is intended for the Indian market.
Recall that the model entered the Indian market in January last year and is available in five trim levels: E, S, SX, SX +, SX (O). Prices range from Rs 597,500 to Rs 935,605 ($ 8,200 to $ 12,800). The main acquisition of the model after the update is the spoiler on the trunk lid, which is included by default in all versions except the base E.
With the release of the 2021 model year car, the initial version of the E did not receive anything, but other configurations were revised and increased in price by 4,000 rupees.
Inside the Hyundai Aura there is a semi-digital instrument panel, climate control, a multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen display, two USB ports, and wireless charging for smartphones.
The range of motors has not changed. The sedan is available with a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder “aspirated” (83 hp, 114 Nm), which runs on gasoline and methane and is combined with a 5-speed manual transmission or “robot” AMT. Also available is a 1.0-liter “turbo-engine” (100 hp, 172 Nm), it is combined only with a manual transmission. The SX + version can be equipped with a 1.2-liter diesel engine (75 hp 190 Nm). Hyundai Aura has front-wheel drive.
The overall dimensions of the sedan are 3995x1680x1520 mm in length, width and height, respectively. Wheelbase – 2 450 mm.
