Cars hosted the Bajaj Qute race, considered the world’s cheapest car and bike. The Qute, equipped with a 13-horsepower motor, fought a drag bike driven by a professional athlete.
The quad is equipped with a 216 cubic centimeters single-cylinder engine developing 13 horsepower and 19 Nm of torque. With this setup, it can reach speeds of up to 70 kilometers per hour.
The first race turned out to be a failure for Qute: in addition to the driver, there were three more people in the cabin, so the ATV could not develop sufficient speed to overtake (and even just catch up) the bike. The second attempt took place without passengers – only the driver remained in Qute. But even in this case, the victory of the car was not obvious and the intrigue remained until the very finish.
