The British and Japanese the same as everyone else.
Chevrolet released the first image of the interior of the new Corvette, is designed for countries with left-hand traffic. Shown here is the 3LT package with two-tone interior and suede on the seats and the GT2 wheel. As expected, configuration right hand drive supercar mirror repeats the model for the global market.
The factory version with the steering wheel on the right came from the “Corvette” for the first time in its history. In many respects, its production has become possible due to the transition to a mid-engine layout and waiver of mechanics in favor of uncontested eight-speed robot. Fans reacted immediately: in Japan, for the first 60 hours from the start of acceptance of applications ordered more than 300 vehicles. To understand the “corvettes” of the previous generation were sold in this country, only 100 pieces per year – their alteration in third-party companies could afford not everyone.
Despite such consumer enthusiasm, the bosses at GM a little nervous: the leadership has no confidence that the high demand will continue in the future. Already confirmed that RHD Chevrolet Corvette will be sold in the UK, and Australia with New Zealand – although now not using Holden, and through the structure of GM Specialty Vehicles. A full list of countries with left-hand traffic, in which supercar will be available officially, yet. The global production of the “Corvette” started with delay, but the first right-hand drive car promises to transfer to buyers on time – in 2021.
