Redesigned all-terrain vehicle American brand likely to debut before the end of this year. The model has a correct appearance, changes in technology are expected.
In the line of Chevrolet now two models with the Trailblazer name, but only name them and unites: a framed SUV in the past year joined the compact SUV. Crossover with a monocoque body now sell in China and Korea, soon it will reach other markets, in particular, it will be brought to the United States. The concern General Motors does not intend to abandon the big Rover, which is available, for example, in South East Asia, South America and Australia (on the continent it is presented under the brand Holden). Coming debut the restyled SUV: disguised car caught in Brazil (the plant commenced production of the model, it is also harvested in Thailand), the photo was published by local publishing Autos Segredos.
Recall that the “true” Trailblazer relevant, the second generation released in 2012, a major upgrade it has survived in 2016. the Coming update, apparently, will be much more modest, at least in terms of exterior design – the model will change only the front part. Under the camouflage of the apparently hidden new optics, a different bumper and grille. Photos of the interior yet, but within no cardinal changes are expected – maximum other multimedia system.
Appliances, according to preliminary data, were also the same. In Brazil the pre-reform presented SUV with turbo diesel 2.8 power of 200 HP, which is combined with a six-speed “automatic”. The model destined for South America, there was a petrol V6 3.6 (279 HP), but last autumn, this engine is dismissed. Brazilian Trailblazer is AWD only. In Southeast Asia, the SUV is equipped with a 2.5 diesel engine, outstanding 180 BHP, the car can be purchase with rear-wheel drive.
The official premiere of the refreshed Chevrolet Trailblazer will probably pass this year. Previous vehicle in the same Brazil stars in the sky is not enough: in 2019 sold 3,360 vehicles, which is 13% less than in 2018. For comparison, the Toyota SW4 frame (as in the Brazilian market, called the Fortuner) last year there were sold 13 523 instance (+0,3%).
Trailblazer in the crossover is expected to also reach the South American market – in this case, the name of the SUV in this region will change.
