California EV startup Neuron exhibited China International Import Expo in Shanghai two new products: the electric SUV T/ONE modular body and tractor TORQ. Both cars are built on a scalable “truck” and is equipped with multiple power sources.
Neuron T/ONE is described as a “car for all”. Thanks to interchangeable body panels, electric car optional transformered of the chassis cab in the pickup truck, cargo van or family van with five or six seats. Moreover, depending on the cabin configuration the driver’s seat will be installed either at the center or to the side like a conventional car.
According to Chinese media, long T/ONE has about 5.5 meters and without recharging rides 480 miles. In addition to the standard traction battery, the SUV is quick backup power source and a solar panel mounted on the lid of the loading platform. Instead of “tidy” and media display, you can use any gadget – a smartphone or tablet.
About Neuron TORQ is less well known. It is made in the same minimalist vein as T/ONE and obviously positioned as a competitor to the Tesla is a Semi. In the cabin of the tractor has one seat and there is something like a table or bed.
In addition to TORQ and T/ONE, a portfolio of Neuron is present EV electric bus, an unmanned cargo platform and MAP the Shuttle HUB. On the timing of release to the market of these electric cars, the company has not yet reported.
