Geely’s luxury sub-brand Zeekr plans to launch six new electric vehicles by 2025, including a minivan. On the eve, spy photos of this car have already hit the Internet. Portal “Chinese Cars” learned some details about the future novelty.
The minivan, now codenamed EF1E, and all other Zeekr electric vehicles are expected to be based on the new modular PMA platform. The length of the minivan, judging by the photo, will be more than five meters, that is, in terms of dimensions, the model will surpass the GAC GN8 van.
It’s difficult to talk about the design of the future minivan. In any case, if you take a closer look at the picture, you can see the outlines of the optics raised above the hood, a sloping windshield (apparently for better aerodynamics) and the presence of a sliding mechanism for the rear doors.
The interior of the car, unfortunately, was not caught in the camera lenses. Chinese media speculate that the minivan will start at 280,000 yuan ($ 43,000 at current exchange rates). For comparison, the first model of the Zeekr brand called 001 is offered for purchase from 281 to 360 thousand yuan ($ 43,200 – $ 55,400).
