The Chinese company Colove has rolled out a new sports two-cylinder Colove 321RR motorcycle, which strongly resembles the Yamaha R3.
Colove 321RR is equipped with a 322 cc in-line engine with 39 hp. Colove has also released a naked version as a utility vehicle for motorcyclists in developing countries. The motor is installed in a lattice frame. The Yamaha R3 has a similar design, and the Japanese motorcycle develops the same power with only 1 cm3 less. The molding and profile of the motor components are similar, but not identical. The Chinese have carefully tried to hide the traces of copying and insist that the engine is personal development.
Potential customers, in principle, are more important about reliability, build quality and price. If the Colove 321RR motorcycle loses much in one of the parameters, it will be difficult to compete with the Yamaha R3 or other worthy analogues.
