Peugeot has slightly updated the Citicar 108 to keep it competitive in the much-contested city car class. The cost of the updated model starts at $ 18,200 at the current exchange rate.
With the update, the model has lost one of the complete sets, namely the three-door version. Peugeot also introduced two new paint colors for the entire vehicle range: Ural White and Galaxite Gray.
The Peugeot 108 model range will be offered in three versions: Active, Allure and Collection. The base model will get 15-inch steel wheels, air conditioning and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
The average Allure trim is priced at £ 14,675, or about $ 20,000. It additionally received 15-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, a color rearview camera and a pair of electrically adjustable and heated rearview mirrors.
The Peugeot 108 Collection starts at £ 14,925, or about $ 20,400. It also comes with 15-inch alloy wheels, but has a few new orange center caps, and body-colored door handles replace the old chrome elements of the car.
Automatic air conditioning is standard inside, along with some orange accents and yellow stitching on the seats.
At the same time, the engine range of the updated hatchback does not shine with variety – under the hood there is an uncontested 1.0-liter three-cylinder gasoline unit with a capacity of 72 hp, combined with a 5-speed manual transmission.
