The former CEO of Mitusbishi will become CEO of Citroen.
Brand Citroen PSA Group is planning to change its leadership with the former head of Mitsubishi Vincent Kobe, replacing current boss of the brand, Linda Jackson, according to sources in the company.
Jackson will get a new role in PSA, sources told Automobilwoche, a subsidiary publication of Automotive News Europe. Kobe left Mitsubishi in April as part of a broader reshuffle among the higher ranks of Nissan and Mitsubishi after the arrest of Carlos Gona in November last year. A French citizen has previously worked at Nissan, where he was responsible for global business for Datsun, Nissan rebooted the brand in an emerging market.
The PSA representative was told only that Kobe joined the management team Citroen with October 1 as the Deputy Manager of the brand, responsible for accelerating the international growth of the brand.
“He will be a part of the Executive Committee of the Citroen,” – said the representative of the Automotive News Europe.
