Nowadays, every second designer thinks about energy efficiency and ecology (electric bikes), but there are guys for whom style plays a primary role. The Xenotype concept was developed by the “Colorsponge” and “Ash Thorp” studios, more specifically by Ash Thorp from San Diego and his best friend Carlos from CGi.
The guys took a beautiful chassis and a Ducati 916 engine. The project originated in ordinary sketches before the guys transferred it to a 3D model. Ash and Carlos used Andreas Ezelius’ model (an airplane model with unique aerodynamic elements) as inspiration.
The body kit is a set of sharpened fairing elements made in the cyberpunk style. Highlights include slim LED optics, Brembo disc brakes, carbon fiber elements and a high center of gravity.
