Chevrolet introduced the Silverado ZR2 pickup truck. An off-road modification appeared for the model for the first time – it differs in a different body design, a redesigned interior, and a number of technical improvements. The capabilities of the new version of the car were tested during grueling off-road races. The flagship modification will go on sale next year.

The off-road Silverado is distinguished by a different front end of the body, on which the engineers have placed a massive radiator grille of a new design, which emphasizes the dimensions of the truck. In addition, the front of the pickup features a lower position of the front optics, as well as new daytime running lights with animated “approach” and “remove” functions. Other features include a steel front bumper with removable end caps, which allows the Silverado ZR2 to increase its approach angle by up to 31.8 degrees.

The off-road pickup is available in three colorways: Dark Ash, Sand Dune and Glacier Blue. The truck features red towing eyes, additional underbody skids, 18-inch rims with 33-inch off-road tires, plus adjustable Multimatic DSSV shock absorbers with retuned springs and a forked exhaust system.

The interior of the Silverado ZR2 is made of leather in two colors: Jet Black and Graystone. The pickup has a 12.3-inch digital dashboard; 13.4-inch multimedia system with touchscreen and support for Google Assistant; as well as a new center console.

In the ZR2 engine range, there is a 6.2-liter V8 engine, the output of which is 420 horsepower and 624 Nm. The unit is combined with a 10-band automatic transmission. In addition, the truck is equipped with electronic front and rear differential locks and a Terrain Mode driving profile for rock-crawling in one pedal.

The Silverado ZR2 is slated for off-road sales in 2022.

Although it is definitely an unfinished replica, I would be interested in contact details, anyway. Maybe this could be an interesting project.
