Crossover Toyota RAV4 in Japan has undergone modernization

Toyota has made design changes to the fifth generation of the RAV4 crossover in Japan. A slightly redesigned version of Toyota’s popular SUV for the domestic market debuted on December 1st.

The main updates of the Japanese RAV4 went to the hybrid version of the E-Four and powered by the PHV network. Both versions have acquired LED optics of a new design. In addition, the range of the first one was replenished with the Adventure modification, and the entire SUV line received light-alloy wheels of a new design.

The RAV4’s home color gamut has expanded with two body colors – Emotional Red, Atiitude Black Mica and a 2-color combination of a black top, pearl bottom (White Pearl Crystal Shine).

Prices for the upgraded crossovers have already been announced. For the hybrid RAV4 in Japan, they ask from 2 million 774 thousand yen ($ 24,500), and for the “rechargeable” version of the PHV – from 4 million 690 thousand yen ($ 41,300).
